Yes, spots are limited and tours often fill up. We recommend booking at least a few days ahead to secure your place.
The price includes a 3-hour guided walking tour, 5 tasting stops, all food samples, and stories from your local guide. Drinks are not included unless specifically mentioned during the tour.
Most guests tell us they’re comfortably full by the end of the tour. With five generous tasting stops, it’s roughly the equivalent of a full breakfast and lunch combined. So no need to eat beforehand — just come hungry and enjoy!
We do our best to accommodate vegetarian diets and mild allergies. Please let us know your dietary needs when booking. We CAN provide vegetarian-friendly tasting. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a fully vegan or gluten-free experience at this time — but stay tuned for our upcoming Vegan Food Tour!
We run our tours with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 12 guests. This keeps the experience friendly, flexible, and personal — just the way we like it!

The tour takes place rain or shine! Please dress accordingly — and bring an umbrella if needed. Most stops are indoors or covered.
Absolutely — children are very welcome on our tour! But please note that the experience and tastings are tailored to adult guests.
The walking distance is about 3 kilometers (1.8 miles) approx. 40 minutes long, mostly flat and at a relaxed pace. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
We meet in front of the Zytglogge (Clock Tower) in Bern’s Old Town. You’ll receive detailed instructions in your confirmation email.
The tour will end at Waisenhausplatz.
Yes! You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the tour starts. You will receive a full refund minus a CHF 5 processing fee per booking.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start time are non-refundable, and no-shows will not be reimbursed. You may reschedule your tour free of charge up to 24 hours in advance, subject to availability. For cancellations please send an Email with details to info@bernbites.com.

Unfortunately, the Bern Bites Food Tour is not fully accessible for guests with limited mobility or those using a wheelchair. The tour includes a walking route through the old town with cobblestone streets, uneven surfaces, and several staircases, which can pose challenges.
